ETV interview with The Legendary Alemayehu Eshete

Alemayehu Eshete is Ethiopia's Ethio-jazz living legend active since the 1960s who primarily sings in Amharic. Eshete's talent was recognized by colonel Retta Demeqe who invited the young singer to perform with Addis Ababa's famous Police Orchestra.

Abraham Wolde is a successful Ethiopian music producer, author, and actor who is responsible for Balageru I, II & III. He has become a member of a highly successful R&B and hip hop production team, RCE/Konvict Muzik and is now working with Akon.

Alemayehu Eshete is not only a great artist but he is also a great person. I had a chance to meet him briefly and i was impressed by his kindness.

Music supposed to tell story and it should show creativity, that is the quality of your works I admire and appreciate. I wish you the best of success in your new projects.
