Mums for Mums is an NGO based in Mekelle in the region of Tigray in northern Ethiopia. It is dedicated to working with some of the most marginalized and forgotten members of Ethiopian society - young single women and people living with HIV and AIDS.

In pursuit of its goals, the main activities of Mums for Mums are as follows:

1. Providing skills training to young women to enable them to become financially independent and self-reliant.
2. Addressing under-nutrition in Tigray by teaching people the value of cactus, which grows freely, as a nutritious food for human consumption.
3. Providing HIV/AIDS counselling and awareness building through door to door visits and group sessions in Mekelle and other districts of Tigray (such as Maichew, Adigrat and Adua).
4. Running a free VCT (Voluntary Counselling and Testing) centre for HIV/AIDS.
5. Home-based care for AIDS sufferers and training family members to continue this care
6. Providing reproductive health counselling and a family-planning service.
